Camp in Marahau.

In Akomanga Whitu last week we were on camp in Marahau. It was so fun one of my favourite parts was abseiling it was quite scary at the start for me when the guy was lowering me down but when I was half way down I started feeling better. Another one of my favourite parts on camp was floundering in the evening we went to the beach and put the net in crystal clear water and started to walk in one direction we went back to shore, we didn't catch any flounder but we caught two colossal stingrays. Camp is awesome!    from Holly.

Soccer in the weekend

I played soccer in the weekend but we lost 3   1 but we still tried are best (Sean) :)

Mothers day letters

In Akomanga Whitu we have been writing mothers day letters to our Whaea (mother) .

First we planed in our writing book then we showed Whaea Aroha.


After that we started writing on our good copy .


And then with some flax we tied it around the piece of paper.

I meant you put the zero on the end as a place holder, not add zero.

I think we need to remember because we want to remember all the soldiers that died.  We show respect to them.  Denim
