We are an awesome Year 4 and Year 5 class. We are excited about this year and can't wait to try new things. We are aiming to be all we can, in everything we do. We are also aiming to be H.O.T (Higher Order Thinking) kids. Go Room 7!

Common Noun and Proper Noun
This week we have been learning about Proper Nouns and Common Nouns. A Common Noun is a word like city and a Proper Noun is a word like Auckland city. So really the only thing that a Proper Noun is, is the specific name of something.
