Takaka Netball

Yesterday at Mapua School we had Takaka sports we played Netball, Lily played goal shoot and Selena played goal-keep.  We lost 5-6 but we all shook hands at the end.

With Vanessa our teacher, we learn tennis skills just like the world's best tennis players.  It is so much fun.

BOOK FAIR!

Today Mapua school had a book fair and we had to dress up as our favourite book character.
Macgregor was Professor Otherhand from 'Ghosts and Gadgets'.
Bailey was Kev from 'Kiwi of the great forest'.

Animation

We are creating animations about an Olympic Creed moment for each Summer Olympics since the Modern Olympics started.  We had to research about world history as well as what was happening at the Olympics.  Here we are in the middle of making our animations.
